METATUBI (year 2012)

Lamps, vases, jewellery, poufs: METATUBI is a line of objects made with industrial waste from the production of plastic pipes.

In the factory, the scraps, agglomerated, deformed, abandoned on the ground, smeared by the grease of the machinery look at the brothers: perfect smooth and uniform tubes, which continue along the production line: carefully rolled up and then picked up by the technicians in white coats. But everything can be rehabilitated: nothing is lost and any remaining scar is not a sign of ineffectiveness of the treatment, but rather evokes the history of the object.
